First of all, what is a T-R-B?
T-R-B is a band that operates out of Lenawee and Monroe County, Michigan. We play a broad variety of music types. T-R-B used to be the Tom Rowe Band, and that's where the name came from.
What do you mean by "broad variety?"
We play rock from the '60s, '70s and '80's, the blues, new and old country, polkas, waltzes, old standards, and we even call square dances if requested.
That's quite a variety. Where do you find an audience for that much of a variation?
Many of our jobs are weddings, since the people there are just as likely to want to hear "Mony Mony" as they are "Daddy's Little Girl" or "Boot Scootin' Boogie." But we also play anniversary parties, fund raisers, and many other types of dances where the audience is varied in age.
On the other hand, we can sometimes be heard at local watering holes, where we are more likely to be playing classic rock, blues and country. Whether people want to dance or just listen, they enjoy T-R-B.
